Governance / Management Interface
Representation
- Work for the Vision and Mission of the Organization/SSSWF
- Represent various stakeholders.
- Carry the public trust.
- Elect new Managing Committee Members.
Policy decision making and leadership
- Act as custodian of the organizational purposes, mandate and identity.
- Establish/realign strategic direction and futuristic vision.
- Oversee long-term planning and general direction and resource mobilization of the organization.
- Guide responsiveness of organizational mission to environmental context.
- Steward financial resources to ensure they are extended for the intended purposes.
- Advance and promote through advocacy the objectives and purposes of the Organization.
- Frame Bye-laws, Rules & Regulations and also propose/approve amendments in constitution as and when needed.
- Work in time bound committees and give their inputs according to their areas of expertise.
- Act as organizational representatives/advocates at various levels.
Accountability
- Ensure transparency of processes while maintaining accountability.
- Oversee overall performance and make recommendations.
- Report organizational perspectives to stakeholders.
- Be responsible for all accountability under the law.
